I was originally going to buy a Milwaukee 5.5 Amp magnum drill with the hopes of someday handing it down to my son as a testament to the quality of an American Manufactured product. Then I read the reviews and the last one posted informed me that Milwaukee had outsourced the manufacturing of that drill to China. If I wanted a Chinese drill, I would have bought a Hitachi.
So I bought the Bosch, and am very impressed. it has just as much if not more power than the Milwaukee. I drilled holes with self feed bits up to 2 and 9/16s and the drill didn’t even get warm. This is a high quality poece of machinery that seems built to last. It is made in Switzerland, But that sure beats China any day.
